Those Who Lie Beneath is a dope ass metal band from Portland, OR. These guys are signed to Rise records and touring like mad with names like The Red Chord, Aborted and Within The Ruins. Their full-length "An Awakening" which is included in this post is a blend of many death-metal influences — old-school death, the crushing breakdowns of deathcore, melodic death metal guitar stylings and solos, and tech-death instrumentation. Cosa Nostra

Cosa Nostra was a metal band from West Palm Beach, Florida. Besides being friends and playing along side these guys on tour and many other shows i first saw these guys play and couldn't get more. With a extremely fun live show and crushing music they gathered quite a following all around Florida. Breaking up shortly after getting off a tour with By The Sins Fell Angels and Harvest The Deceased and just releasing new music i still rock their old 5 song demo titled "Initiation" which is included in this post.

The Algorithm

Created in 2009, The Algorithm is an experimental band coming from France. Best way to describe them would be Electronic Mathcore. In this post I'm including their 2009 release "The Doppler Effect". I found these guys one night and after seeing only 2 members and hearing a sample i was hooked . It is deff a very interesting mixture of music if i do say so myself. A.Ghost is a Progressive Deathcore band from Encinitas, California. There really isn't much about this band anywhere really and their Myspace is quite bare. The Flaming Tsunamis

The Flaming Tsunamis are an experimental skacore band based out of New Haven, CT. Since their formation in 1999 the band has released 2 EPs and 1 full-length. A friend introduced me a few years ago and i fell in love upbeat ska and heavy parts couldn't not love it. Sadly they are putting out one last full-length in 2010 and one last show and calling it quits from what i hear. In this post I'm including their ep Zombies Vs Robots which is my favorite release from these guys.
